28th June 2024

Thermology Health, a spinout from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), has developed a unique, patented thermal imaging technology for the prevention of diabetic foot ulcers. Thermology Health approached HTE to help perform health economic evaluations. This involved studies in the NHS and US. The studies have demonstrated the patient impact and economic benefits of their innovation, showing cost savings for health systems and improved outcomes for patients.
Spotlight on Dr John Scott Frazer, Inventor of PediJect

3rd June 2024

Dr John Scott Frazer, a doctor from North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, works predominantly in anaesthetics and intensive care. Scott has worked with HTE to develop his concept for the PediJect device, a dose adjustable prefilled medication syringe for use in children’s emergencies. HTE provided support to review the commercial potential of the device, IP options, regulatory strategies and obtaining funding to develop the idea.
