Tuesday 12th November, marked 20 years since Health Tech Enterprise was founded. We started out as a spin out of the Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We were the NHS Innovation Hub for the East of England and immediately began helping to address unmet clinical needs by working with clinical innovators to develop and commercialise new medical technologies and services and by fostering innovation positive environments in our supported NHS trusts.
The world of healthcare and healthtech is constantly evolving and the innovation landscape is very different from the one in which we started. Our own organisation has changed and evolved to meet the new challenges facing innovators in bringing their products to market and we have been fortunate enough to have supported some amazing entrepreneurs from the NHS, industry and academia.
On our 20th Anniversary we want to thank all those who have been a part of our journey, colleagues, partners, past and current clients, employees and friends. We couldn’t have made it this far without all of you and we look forward to another 20 years of helping foster HealthTech innovation and make a tangible difference in patients lives.
