12. Darkening Of Skin
Acanthosis Nigricans is common in diabetics. It usually presents itself as a darkening and thickening of the skin. At times, the skin can become elevated and have a velvety texture.
This condition is most common at the nape of the neck, groin, under the breasts and armpits. Consider being tested for diabetes if you have similar symptoms.
