Medovate is a company dedicated to the development and commercialisation of innovative medical technologies from within the NHS to provide a route to market for clinician-inspired medical device innovations. HTE supported the early IP protection, proof of concept development, and funding for Medovate’s first breakthrough technology, SAFIRA® (Safer Injection for Regional Anaesthesia).9th July 2024
Maternal Newborn Health Innovations (MNHI) is a mission-driven Public Benefit Corporation focused on enabling a gentle and safe way for obstetricians to assist the birth of newborns during circumstances of prolonged, complicated labour. HTE has helped MNHI conduct a health economic analysis to simulate the real-life impact that its OdonAssist™ inflatable obstetric device for assisted vaginal birth could have in the maternity space.28th June 2024
Thermology Health, a spinout from the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), has developed a unique, patented thermal imaging technology for the prevention of diabetic foot ulcers. Thermology Health approached HTE to help perform health economic evaluations. This involved studies in the NHS and US. The studies have demonstrated the patient impact and economic benefits of their innovation, showing cost savings for health systems and improved outcomes for patients.3rd June 2024
Dr John Scott Frazer, a doctor from North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, works predominantly in anaesthetics and intensive care. Scott has worked with HTE to develop his concept for the PediJect device, a dose adjustable prefilled medication syringe for use in children’s emergencies. HTE provided support to review the commercial potential of the device, IP options, regulatory strategies and obtaining funding to develop the idea.29th May 2024
Open Medical, a health technology company founded and led by practising NHS healthcare professionals, provides tailored, cloud-based software solutions for healthcare organisations. Open Medical approached HTE to help scale its award-winning teledermatology platform, Pathpoint eDerma, into a community-based diagnostic model.
